Responsibilities of Network Lineworker:

Your knowledge and unwavering dedication to excellence are integral in guaranteeing that Verizon's outdoor facilities are operating at peak efficiency and readiness.

• Overseeing the arrangement, reconfiguration, and elimination of outdoor communication infrastructure components, which may include above-ground, below-ground, underwater, buried, block, and building-related materials.
• Establishing connections between wires and cables and securing or releasing various forms of machinery to wires, cables, buildings, or masts.
• Reading and comprehending engineering job instructions.
• Conducting construction work by utilizing specific equipment such as digging pits and installing poles.
• Handling the operation of company motor vehicles with different gross weights for equipment conveyance.
• Climbing up ladders and poles, operating at heights, distinguishing between wire and cable colors, and shifting/lifting objects that generally weigh less than 100 pounds.
• Adapting to the varying work schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and unscheduled shifts dictated by business requirements.

Qualification of Network Lineworker:

You know outside plant and construction and are anxious to put your knowledge and skills to work on Americas fastest and most reliable network. You like to be busy and well-organized to stay on top of things. You know that the whole team needs to work together to win and you take pride in a job well done.

• Valid state drivers license with a satisfactory driving record.
• CDL or the ability to obtain one.
• A related Associate Degree or 2 or more years of relevant work experience.
